China build ship for Algeria ?

Yes I know that it's a training ship. But looking to the used radars, the one in the rear is the same as the one used for guiding the C-802 in our Chneoua class corvettes, that's why I ask about the C-802 And because here in Algeria it was quoted as an admiral boat for the navy too.

It's strange to have two kind of radar without using any weapons(not talking about the two type-76 and the AK-176) no?

And if possible is it possible to have the names of this 3 radars? From another ship but the same are used on the algerian training ship. Thank's.

The lowest mounted radar is the Type 347G which is used to controll propaply the both chinese and russian guns, Ak-176 and Type 76A. The upper bigger radar is most likely a Type 363, a Thompson-CSF Sea Tiger copy which is normal air/surface search radar.

Fot information, this picture is from a Chneoua class corvet, not the school boat The 347G is used for the AK-176 and one AK-630, the radar is used for the 4 C-802 used on this boat:

About the Chneoua class, Iread somewhere that Its bulgarian desinged ..., And rarely I pop up whit anything additional information about the class, eq where they are been build and stuff...

So as you beeing Algerian I hope that you could possibly enlighten me more about this nice warship

Ah I now that, some ones says that the cheneoua is a bulgarian designed boat, other that it's chinese looking to it's name. Here in Algeria they passed a military documentary in 2002(the first one I ever see), and they watch us the Chenoua and the officer who designe it and the building process. It's clearly an algerian designe boat and the 3 boats was made here in Mers El Kebir shipyard Last year I visited Mers El Kebir naval base during a navy open week, I asked the officers of the 353 El Kirch they sayed to me the same thing, that the boat was developped and build here in Algeria by algerians, so the response is clear. But the equipments are not algerian, it use german engines, chinese missiles, radar, optronics and FCS, russian artillerie, frensh GPS and many other things.

Nice The Bulgarian statement have always been bit hazy as Bulgarians haven't been so know ship designers...But nice to get that thing sorted out
