Joke about America all you want, we have wide shoulders and we could take it. I suggest Obamacare and NSA/Snowden jokes are low hanging fruit to target. Dysfunctional government, fiscal insanity, slavery, racism, genocide of American Indians, and incarceration of Japanese-Americans are also easy targets. Let's agree to calling things as we see them, good or bad.

Everything I said in my thread on Philippines typhoon was true:
1) Initial pledge of $100k was exceedingly cheap and not worthy of a great power. Full stop.
2) CCP official corruption is completely out of hand. It doesn't mean other countries don't have corruption, only that it's so bad in China, it's threatening the legitimacy of the Communist Party.
3) High level CCP officials and/or their families are rich beyond the dreams of avarice, and it pisses off Chinese citizens to no end.

You do know I'm "American" born and reared? Where did I joke about America? Is that some trick to divert attention and gain sympathy? If you're talking about the part where I brought up the American selling property on the moon and Mars, then you don't have wide shoulders and can't take it because that wasn't a joke. You have to be pretty thin-skinned to see that as a joke.

If $100k is cheap and CCP officials are corrupt then you demand money denied from Chinese citizens to be given instead to Filipinos? China is not a worthy and great power if you at the same time are arguing No.2. And why do Filipinos have a right to money if it's stolen money by corruption from the Chinese people in the first place?
