According to Usaf ,test carry out in the early 80s between us and w. Germany ,tvc has a negative effect on the jet engine overall thrust output,it reduced output by at much 25-30% .to cancel out the disruption a engine max. Thrust must exceed 30000 lbs thrust.
This mean the j36 engine max.thrust had to exceed 30000 lbs. Thrust,likely a complete different engine

... what makes you think that the WS-10C/C2/C3 engines don't already have more than 30000 pound-force (~133 kN) of max thrust?

Considering the latest version of 177S with technology from AL-51 already reaching 35,000lbs wet and 24,000lbs dry, I wonder how far they could push WS-10 with technology from WS-15.
