Charles de Gaulle vs. Admiral Kuznetsov

My gut feeling is that people are underestimating the Adm K's aircraft capability such as range etc. Although I personally consider the Rafale as the best naval fighter out there, Su-33s are not bad either, ski-jump or not.

It's not about, which side has the superior aircraft. Its about detection and situational awwareness. The side with greater situational awareness has a massive advantage. The De Gaulle has the E-2 hawkeye, an AEW aircraft with superior detection and command and control capabilities than the Helix AEW. The Helix is limited to being a helo by its ceiling and endurance, but it is a lot better than having no AEW at all.

Remember an aircraft carrier is only as good as its airwing.

As long as it is an air-strike and there's no weapons innovation, it will come down to a saturation attack, IMO. And saturating the inner defence and CIWS is probably not that hard, since reaction times are short.
Therefore it probably pretty much also depends on the company of those CV(N)s.
Has anybody info of how a "standart" CBG around dG and AdmK looks like?
