Boat crash left significant damage to a Corvette ARA "Espora"
The news was known on Wednesday morning and would have occurred on Tuesday night but no injuries were reported.
As it turned out, the collision was carried out by the Correa ARA "Espora" (P-41) of the Argentine Navy and a ship of the Merchant Navy when both were in the anchorage located opposite the coasts of Batteries.
Unofficial reports indicated that the incident occurred allegedly when an anchor was released from the military vessel and due to strong prevailing winds, was adrift and collided against the merchant vessel.
The damages in both boats were considerable and at noon, the Espora Corvette entered dike for its control and repair.
