I hope most European don't actually think that the acknowledgement (or the lack of it) of their leader is what give the Communist party its legitimacy to rule, or their leaders are automictically seen as trustworthy and upstanding actors on the world. This is beyond delusion of grandeur and an absurdly early 2000s mindset.
So I'm guessing it would be a bad time to bring up the fact that EU will soon have to supply Ukraine with electricity if they want them to keep fighting?
