So? A riot is a riot. Having political agenda only makes them more guilty, and it doesn't lessen Western media's double standard.

Political agenda + deliberate violence against civilians = terrorism.

So if people want to justify this rioting on the grounds of politics, they should realize they are defining the riots as terrorism rather than mere criminality.

I agree with these post. There was a peaceful protest..then the trouble makers showed up to create chaos. And that they did. Horrible situation.

Well that definition changed during the Iraq War. Plus your definition still applies to the riots in Tibet and Xinjiang.

I agree this one, that this time, those rioters are not that "innocent".

The underlying arguments on this GOOD SDF, I think, is that good members while not deliberately bashing UK and its govt, they having disgusting feelings that this time, the typical western public media is rapid to recognize the rioters are not "peaceful protesters" - and the same buch of media lords which I would like to call, are not bothering mention it, if anything exactly the same context, happens in China (or any "not-the-same-line" country with west, of the world).

There was even a picture of 2 injured and bloodied Han Chinese women with the caption "Blood in their hands". Now I want to see what would be the reaction of the people in this side of the world, if the Chinese media were to do something the same.
