As far as China's position in the world, there is absolutely NO QUESTION that Chinese exceptionalism is what will bring peace and stability to a chaotic world order. The stronger China gets, certain countries' global domination ambitions will be shattered. I would say vast majority of the countries want China to take global leadership. China was the largest economy for 18 out of the past 20 centuries, and so China's position as number 1 is currently occupied by a transition power until China reclaims its rightful place as the most powerful country on this planet.

China is already on its way to reclaiming its rightful position. Just need 15-20 more years and China will be number 1.

Chinese system is all about finding out weaknesses and seeking improvement, that's one of the major reasons China will surpass the United States by 2030. US is too complacent, just like in the Korean War, it is the Achilles heel of the US. China has nothing to lose and everything to gain, whereas US has nothing to gain and everything to lose.

I can give you a list where China is AHEAD in MANY economic indicators.
