They were not pro-India. They just do deals with whoever and whenever.

Bangladesh has had bridges built by the Chinese, and they buy Chinese military hardware like the VT-5 tank. They have had India build coal power plants. And Russia is building them nuclear power plants.

Bangladesh is one of the few countries not part of BRICS which is a member of the New Development Bank.

I think this has all the telltale signs of a US government op.

The Bangladesh Army Chief, who was just put into place a couple of months ago, who announced the PM's resignation, studied in the UK.
So who do you think is supposed to benefit?

The US was trying to unite the entire opposition to the government party in Bangladesh to make them lose the elections. When the government party won the elections, they started a coup. It is just typical of several US regime change operations.

Doesn't seem like it affects China all that much, whoever replaces her won't be worse for China. India on the other hand is in total meltdown mode. There will be fun times ahead for the loincloth imperialist in the north east :)
Dont sing too early. We cant tell if this is good. Maybe a pro west faction comes in. Or maybe a pro China military faction comes in, but bad at economy, paving way for western subterfuge. End of the day China doesnt need slaves, the status quo of keeping door open is fine.

Bangladesh isn't a core interest for China or the US, it is for India. A pro-west faction that is more anti-India is also fine for China. Look at Pakistan, did the new PM backed by the US affect China's relations?

They were extremely pro-India, from their very history Awami League was Pro-India and anti-Pakistan. The Opposition parties are usually anti-India and pro-Pakistan. In terms of China also, the opposition will be much more pro China just cause they can use Chinese power to go against India.
