And what makes Chinese action "Imperialistic" other than pretty much copying and pasting western rhetorical nonsense against China which almost all are mere projections of their past, present, and future actions. Why don't you explain in your own indomitable way how is the very action that's China has taken which is not dissimilar to the actions Communist Vietnam, Philippines etc. have taken advantage and done for years when China was relatively preoccupied and frankly weak militarily.
Would you say with a straight face and without showing your obvious disdain and prejudice against China that no other power let alone the relative power China has would tolerate such blatant disregard to it's historical claims? Do you think maritime powers like Britain, U.S. France, Russia would tolerate similar issue if face with similar situation?

Says you lol. Wasn't the narrative supposed to be that SCS is 'free' from anyone's control, and then now you support Vietnam and others claiming islands so long as it isn't China. Mind you, Vietnam currently occupies more islands than China.
How to respond to people who want to give Vietnam 'what they deserve'. This is obviously not the place for a discussion about that topic but just patriotic drum beating.

It's what makes us humans and you can't simply ask or expect that what I can only assume is the reaction of some Chinese blooded posters for expressing a certain degree of comeuppance against Vietnam. After all China did help that country in more ways than one during her fight and struggle against America in the Vietnam War. China gave up an island, provided troops, materiale, moral and financial support only to be treated with contempt and deceit. Not to mention the constant pilloring on China in every possible angle at a constant pace. The country isn't given any acknowledgement that's sincere and worthy of it's achievement which in all frankness has been unprecedented in modern history.
Would you be calm, cool, and collected if you are personally attacked, derided as a cheat, a murderer, low character, dirty, virus carrier, scum, a genocidal maniac, worst than Nazi's etc..that's pretty much what China and to a pointed extent what Chinese people are being subjected to wether one acknowledge that or not. Some Chinese in the west hide their heritage if they can helped it by jumping on the "I hate the See See Pee not the Chinese people" mantra and or saying am not Chinese am whatever East Asian heritage they can label themselves as..some even tries to thoroughly white washed themselves to rid themselves of the ridicule and disparagement from the people and country they're supposed to belong which is America.
So give me a break for seemingly being so butthurt about the inevitable push backs your comment created. I am not suggesting that Vietnam deserves to be punished in anyway, am saying that there's a logic to the reaction.
That doesn't change a bit about the obvious made up narrative of Vietnam being a threat. We are talking about that China here that tried to invade Vietnam for purely geopolitical (read imperialistic) goals in SEA.
