I think there should be a new category of warriors; medical, scientist, engineers, etc... in the forums. The PLA's response to COVID-19 with it's military doctors, medics and specialists is unprecedented. How does a nation conjure over 40,000 military medics and doctors overnight to the battlefront ?

Or can somebody tell me where is the solid cargo receiving set (and what is the formal name for this thing?) on HMAS Canberra?

The Gold one is modeled off the Rhino GX aka G. Patton. Not actually A military vehicle. It is an armored car but for the Uber Rich. It’s made by USSV who coach builds it off the Ford F450 Super Duty. Inside it’s Pure Luxury. An armored limo for the billionaire whom doesn’t want to be confused for a politician in an armored Suburban or a tacky armored Escalade, doesn’t want to be confused for some plebeian prepubescents on prom night in a stretch limo, Whom can’t stand being misidentified as some third world Dictators in a Rolls Royce or Bentley but wants all the world to know that they have made the same kind of enemy and as such are to be chaffered around in a vehicle that looks like it should be on the streets of Baghdad. It’s for those whom couldn’t be bothered to be Batman but could be if they felt like it. 7532EC70-3E1F-49E7-BF92-8082933F7AA1.pngF54CB779-47A7-4C15-B788-21E15C396D9C.png
now Why the Two names? Why USSV Rhino and G.Patton? China. USSV Rhino is the name in the American market. In the US these are rare.
In the PRC these are branded as G.Patton because the Billionaire princeling whom buy them, want an “Merica” Car and they mean “Merica”. what could be more “Murican” than an overtly armored SUV Built on the chassis of a Heavy duty pickup truck able to pull a house off its foundation, In your choice of Army Green, Desert Tan or Batmobile Black, named for the Historic General nicknamed Blood and Guts? God Bless America...

The Blue one.
first I thought Humvee. But the headlights are wrong. Also that’s clearly armored Humvee don’t have that body style. Also has this shelf under the windshield I have never seen on a Humvee. This also eliminates Toyota mega cruisers and Vamtac, Mengshi? Nope Nose is wrong, Tigr? Doesn’t have the flat slope under the windshield. Nimr II? Has an inverse hourglass body style where the toy is slab sided. AJBAN? Not boxy enough. LMV to boxy, Dzik, Tur nope.
Renault Sherpa...close... hold up. Renault Sherpa light APC, Low resolution three windows on The toy match, shelf, right body style.just missing la Spade.

What's the difference between the Russians Bastion-P and Iskander-K? What's the justification for their concurrent existence?

It is a case of convergent evolution. Bastion was originally used as an anti-ship system. Iskander is basically supposed to be long distance artillery. Eventually they added an anti-surface mode to Bastion.

Iskander-K should be a lot more cost effective than Bastion-P as an artillery system. Since the missiles should be a lot simpler and cheaper to manufacture.

Operationally Bastion is used by the Russian Navy and Iskander by the Russian Army.
