Hello to you all,

Thank you for confirming my account.

We are having a 1/6 scale figure blog and are currently putting together a gear list with all its real life counterparts. Unfortunately, some are just very hard to find. Would anybody be able to help out with the names of the manufacturing companies of the items below, please?

I already realized, that Norinco is only the exporter of most firearms and the manufacturer is actually China South. Jianshe e.g. seems to be a subsidiary of China South.

QMQ-171 Holographic Sight (used on QCQ-171) - What's the manufacturer?
QSZ-92 - Chongqing ChangFeng Machinery is correct?
QBS-06 Underwater Rifle - CSGC (China South) is correct?
QSS-05 Underwater Pistol - Chongqing JianShe Group Corporation is correct?
YMA-95 Sight - What's the manufacturer?
QMK-152 Sight - What's the manufacturer?
QLG-10 - What's the manufacturer?
QLG-91B - What's the manufacturer?
82-2 Hand grenade - What's the manufacturer? Image link (

Two more scopes/sights I can't find a designation and manufacturer:
From the QBZ-91-1 image link (

From the QJB-95 image link (

Looking forward to any replies, apologies for this long list.

Kind regards

Do you guys know what is going on with China's special forces reform? I was reading somewhere that group armies will lose their SOF brigades. So, what will happen to the special forces? Will it be streamlined into a seperate command similar to SOCOM?

IIRC, brigades were moved up to theatre commands. Group armies only have one battalion of them now. So fewer special forces all around.

Are they going to disband some special forces per Theatre command? So, instead of lets say 3 brigades of SOF in Theatre command with 3 group armies, now they will have 1 brigade per theatre command?

Most other militaries don't have significant amounts organic artillery at the battalion level. If you look at the US Army force structure, they have artillery assigned at the brigade level. The battalion only has a few 80mm mortars as artillery support. In contrast, the PLA heavy combined arms battalions have 9x 122mm guns on a tracked chassis and the medium combined arms battions have 9x 120mm gun-mortars on a wheeled chassis. It wouldn't be practical to have organic artillery like this with 152mm guns only as these require a much larger logistical footprint.
Is there a special reason why they use 122 and not 125? 125 is bigger and their tanks already use it
