Then what about China's equivalent to Kinzhal Missile?

Oh come on ... what about doing a bit research on your own? Just check the H-6 thread there are the latest images posted ... and if you add a bit common sense you would realise it will never be able to be carried by the J-20.

Eh? What do you mean by I would realize it will never be able to be carried by the J-20? I ask only about what is China's equivalent to Kinzhal Missile? I never ask about a missile that be able to be carried by the J-20?

My question is legit, because what I found from doing research about Chinese missiles so far, most of them are basically Anti Ship Missiles. So I want to know about Chinese Missile that carried by an airplane that capable to do what Kinzhal Missile is doing. Like attacking a building on the land.

Hi,
any one know about the cost of maintaining kj200 or 500 and how often it
is to overhaul the engines or flying hours
thank you
I don't know about the details of the schedule and implementation of engine maintenance for a KJ-200/500, but I have some knowledge based on some real-world experience on a similar aircraft type.

There are generally three types of engine maintenance, I will number each one giving a simple designation for each level of maintenance:
1 - light maintenance
2 - moderate maintenance
3 - general maintenance

For each flight, the engine must have level 1 maintenance, generally pre-flight and post-flight. This maintenance is a visual inspection.

There are three types of level 2 maintenance. This level 2 maintenance occurs every 3 months. It is a visual and filter inspection, thermocouple test and compressor washing.

There is another type of level 2 maintenance that occurs every 9 months. It is a visual and filter inspection, thermocouple test, compressor washing, oil change, boroscopy, eddy current on the exhaust clamps, bleed air cleaning, ignition test.

There is another type of level 2 maintenance that occurs every 12 months. It's exactly the same type of maintenance as before.

The last is level 3 maintenance that occurs every number of flight hours. This is the engine overhaul geral, carrying out a complete inspection of the engine. Here the complexity is much greater than level 1 and level 2 maintenance, with more men working on this inspection and the duration is longer, generally taking a period of 90 days compared to the 10 days of level 2 maintenance and 3 days of level 2 maintenance every 3 months that I said earlier.

The three types of maintenance seem to be a standard, the only thing that should change in relation to other aircraft or manufacturers are the main maintenance activities and the interval between each maintenance, some opting for flight hours instead of months.

As for the maintenance cost, this information is certainly something that I would like someone here to comment on, because I have never seen an official PLA budget being released.

What are everyone's thoughts on these threads? Which of these figures are the most accurate for global PLAAF vs USAF/USN inventories, and for each category? Just comparing global & not Westpac deployed numbers since in theatre counts can fluctuate.

My thoughts are that it's a dumb comparison made by dumb people with no significance in the real world. One that isn't worth discussing here.
