US cant afford to slow down, AI race is 100x the space race and arms race
Call center folks dont even need to bother to show back up to work after labor day
I am serious when I say this. You may be overestimating the pace at which call center work is getting automated.
Anyhow looks like kling produced videos are already used for mini dramas in china
Special effects portion are still wonky looking, but no worse really than average Chinese CG.
They can always be hired to tag data for training wouldn't be surprised if they will make that pivot.
my thoughts on Qwen2-VL. Looks like it's quite impressive based on what others have said.
the 2b SLM is also multimodal, can be used in robots to give it vision etc
they coming out with an Omni that has native audio too
Can be used to make ingame NPCs truly come to alive, they can see and hear the entire virtual open world

btw, I tried using this huggingface hosting of this to have it summarize BYD model breakdown photo and the results were pretty good.
I'm short on time now, but at some point, I will try some more in depth prompt of different images. Especially stuff I'm too lazy to watch or read through.
