Anyone play Battlefield 2??

question which of these guns do you guys pefer?
Spec Ops: G36C vs SCAR-L
Sniper: M95 vs L96A1
Medic: L85A1 vs H&K G36-E
To me all the german guns in the game rules, the SCAR eats too much ammo if you put it on full auto
also have you guys tried the tatic in which you just jack up a jet, FAV, helo, or tank with C4.... once you run out of ammo you can ram people or just do massive kamikazi with those jets+C4...

G36C over SCAR-L, L96A1 on par with M95, G36E definitely over L85A1.
I like L96A1, but the gun's sound is so gay, it is like a bubble gun. M95 on the hand has a very loud sound and is able to penetrate cockpit glasses of helos.
G36E is really a great rifle, usually in Sharqi map, I will play Medics with G36E.

C4 whoring is not popular after 1.21 patch, it is greatly nerfed. I used to hate C4 people as I thought it does not need any skills. Now since there is no C4 whores any more, I don't hate them any more. haha.

My favoriate gun recently in game is G3 rifle, it is really good. However, make sure you are playing 1.21 patch or above. In previous patches, it is the worst unlock.

Yeah, C4 is kinda annoying but when there's a tank bearing down on your CP it doesn't sound that bad.
L96A1 is probably the best sniper rifle at long distance but the M95 is the best at close range (when you can see the person in it's scope lines)
L85A1 is good when your a medic and you want to take out those pesky snipers on the roofs.. like RavenWing278 all the spec-op weapons in the game, they all lack the punch .....

has any one playing online in BF2 experience any glitches and/or hacks? i know i have. i shot this guy with a bloody tank and he lives!! im like...wtf?! also.. i was in this game and got one hit killed every single time...-.-

here is a good strategy...be a support, so u have unlimited ammo, and then take out your grenades and start throwing them towards anything suspicious...i get like ten or fiften kills with it almost every round

Yeah, I did this a lot of times, especially in Karkland map. The first hotel spawn point in that map is always crowded. When I play USMC, I will play support class and rush to be behind the fence, then keep throwing grenade almost blindly.

Another way to play without skill is claymore whoring. Play snipers, throw your claymores at corners in those city maps. Many people will just walk onto your bombs, it is really funny play this way.

man... when my squad was trying to take this CP, this guys kept responding like instantly right after we killed him.... we have UAV and he was the only person there; it was rather annoying, but he got booted by punkbuster a couple of minutes later b/c his hack caused his ping to go over the limit..

you know what i love to do to piss off people... parajump on a carrier and rig the jets and helos with c4.. then just watch them scream at you as you blow them out of the sky... in BF2 there's lots of desprate people; one time a teammate and we took a WZ-10 and loaded it with C4, we landed on the carrier and just sat around watching... 4 people actually rushed up to it to fight for it, I mean come on a WZ-10 on a carrier... wow..

I am horrible at flying planes in BF2. I had more trouble with the helicopters at first but with a joystick it's not so bad. I have never managed to land a plane in the game though, have any of you guys successfully landed a plane?

Yeah I've done it. It's just really hard with keyboard thrust because once you release the throttle key the engine turns off and takes forever to spool back up again. You need a joystick throttle to keep it at about 50% thrust.

I use X-fire. Account name is friedricenspice...
Only play Wc3 FT and WoW tho.

Who said I want it go higher than 64? I just wanna try to play 16v16 (32) or 32v32 (64), not higher than that...

Or is it impossible to play above the boring 8v8 (16)??
