No way using that much wiener sausages can anyone call it healthy meals. Maybe the chef's been honest in thinking that he is helping those who can barely feed their hungry young, but the reporters are really disgusting in trying to spin a sad story into a positive one.
Right now things are so bad that filling your stomach is the priority.

Last year around Thanksgiving I’ve seen at least five separate families asking on Nextdoor (I presume that they are house owners or renters at very least) asking if they can get some left over food/deserts from their Thanksgiving feast because they can’t afford it this year. That’s the point I realized that the country is fucked up beyond repair.

We will be seeing a generation of Americans who are shorter and thinner than their parents.
