Also Ray Dalio recently said he doesn't think its even a contest anymore, basically China won, and US headed for civil war etc
China have 4x the population (both countries are essentially not making baby, US keep population growth positive via immigration), China have 5x-10x industrial robotics, 100x the ship building capacity, 3x car production, 10x steel production, adjust by PPP China GDP is 1.25x higher than USA, 2x electricity generation. this is not even a contest, it is like smacking a retarded baby in the head.

USA is closer to Russia, than with China.

It is so sad with western media, they will only report industrial robotic by "density" because that is the only way to rank china lower than USA/japan/korea.

China is ahead of the U.S. in industrial robot per capita.

Your knowledge of Robot is way outdated, China is ranked 3rd in robot density with 470 per 10,000 employee, only lower than SK and Singapore. The US in 10th with 295

For all the partisan dramatists screeching about federal layoffs and the headline-starved business press making hay of the Delta Airlines and Nike headlines; the fundamental truth is that the US labor market is extremely and fundamentally strong with substantial job growth and wage growth - that FICA withholdings (which are solely assessed as a percentage of payroll) are much higher than they were a year ago (when the labor market was similarly strong) shows substantial productivity gains dispersing widely through the economy and generating non-inflationary economic growth
Sleepy, you again?

Recession is coming before end of 2025, generally ‘pessimistic’ corporate CFOs say: CNBC survey

95% of CFOs said policy is impacting their ability to make business decisions, and many said while Trump is delivering on promises, his administration’s approach is too chaotic, disruptive and extreme for businesses to navigate effectively.

It all adds up to a majority of CFOs (60%) saying they expect a recession in the second half of the year – another 15% say a recession will hit in 2026.

Just a quarter ago, when the recession question in the quarterly survey was laid on the Fed rather than Trump – in the Q4 2024 survey, we asked whether the central bank’s efforts to tame inflation would lead to an economic slump – only 7% of CFOs said they thought that was on the calendar for 2025.
