Median Salary to purchase a house is now 76k annual salary. Give it long enough and renting a card board box may be too expensive. San Jose is completely screwed tho.

Remember Bush saying the American way of life was nonnegotiable lol? that was just 20 years ago.... home ownership was the cornerstone of the American dream...

The great wreckoning is coming... the elites in power will and have sold the middle class under the bus to save themselves....

This is just the tip of the iceberg im afraid... as EROEI keeps diminishing its going to get nasty...

She is pretty cute tho, would smash
She would then turn around to look at you and say HARD PASS. But she digs your EROEI talk though...

Remember not too long ago people in America were so confident about their financial status and that MMT was becoming a thing, making declaration that deficits don't matter? Inflation? What Inflation?

Here's a talk from yet another prominent university in America (Brown University) talking about this very thing..

This was before Sino-American relation was irreparably damaged though.

Well, these bozos never gives credit to China for anything at all, so it's not like this stupid theory was based on a precondition of a good Sino-U.S. relations.

Especially from this genius lady who's still at it just 5 months ago with a pretend genius, John "anti-China" Stewart.

Does this even take into account housing in violent neighbourhoods that no one will ever invest into?
Whats happening is houses being sold now are purchased by investors that turn around and convert it into single room rentals.... so gradually home ownership is getting displaced, just like when they rebuild an old public road then turn it into privatized toll... another analogy is like when Adobe stopped selling Photoshop boxed copies and only monthly subscriptions now....

Eventually people will only be able to afford to rent a room inside a house thats shared with a bunch of strangers...

To me thats no different than staying in your parents/childrens house and several generations under a roof...yet that was taboo in US society....

Yet the American way used to be once you hit 18 you are out on your own... these days no 18 year old is going to be able to buy a car or a house.... You have software engineers living in cars. How times have changed...
