Senate advances more than $50 billion bill to boost U.S. semiconductor production

The bill, which would provide about $50 billion in subsidies to bolster U.S. computer chip manufacturing, is a multifaceted bipartisan effort that combines the interests of several committees, ranging from national security to economics.

The Senate’s procedural step forward on Tuesday paves the way for the chamber to hold a vote on final passage later this week or early next week. The bill would then travel to the House for passage before it would head to President

The broadest aim of the legislation is to incentivize semiconductor production within the U.S. to decrease dependence on Asia-based manufacturers.

So it is 10billion, 100 billion and even more for anything the USA can spend their toilet paper on. But ultimately will not accomplish anything given how incompetent the USA is right now. They could print a trillion dollars for trying to repair a bridge and they would still screw that up because the builder spent at least half that money on condoms and hookers while the concrete ends up cracking because some fat doofus forgot to put in the reinforcement because he spent that 1 billion on crack and booze. I bet that the 37billion will go into sanitizer and gender changes instead of actually fixing the problem which could be as simply as simply cutting down on sales of assault weapons but then again, those people are so hooked up on the constitution that they simply turn their brains off the moment the 2nd amendment is mentioned

Look at how they're trying to explain inflation and of course all the excuses they make they couldn't control one way or another. There is one reason that caused a snowball effect of inflation that they could've avoided but in fact was their own fault. Their trade war on China. Remember how Trumped lied claiming China was going to pay the tariff...? No it's a 25% tax on Americans. Everything they got from China costed them 25% more and it wasn't unavoidable. They did it by choice. They did it for politics. That's where inflation started. Inflation is caused by lack of supply or increase in demand and in this case "The Perfect Storm" of both. That's what their trade with China did exactly. And why were they too stupid to see this coming? Because they wrongfully believed China needed them more than they needed China so they thought China was going to surrender quickly. Notice the same stupid logic with Russia and their sanctions. They thought it was going to be over quickly so everything would go back to normal. And just as this was all Trump's fault and the Republicans are denial because Americans are shorted-sighted hence they will blame the current President, Biden is doing the same thing now. He can't yield to China so damn the American economy. He only cares about optics. They upset the status quo with China that made everything cheap and made Americans richer than ever. It wouldn't happen without China. Now everything is going to cost them more hence why no end to inflation in sight.
