TPP regrets.. From an American point of view, this was probably America's greatest geopolitical blunder in the 21st century.

Public sentiment was against it, and the US congress would not pass it (or anything else for that matter) anyway, so it was DOA. Even Bernie and Hillary were against it. So basically, only the Obama administration was for it.

In the grand scheme of things, TPP probably could not stop China's rise and US's decline anyway. The US would've still printed trillions of dollars and slowly eroded its dollar primacy through overuse of sanctions, etc., etc.

What the heck is going on with America's Homeless problem? Has it reached an epidemic problem?

@Bellum_Romanum bro looking at the video it's eerie similar to what I experience during Pinoy time as President, Drug addicts owning the street and you can't ventured outside without being hassled and rob, with daytime trade of illegal drugs as the police instead of arresting are part of the business protecting the drug dealers...lol And the one peddling the drugs are children cause one stupid senator KIKO PANGILINAN sponsor a bill not to arrest any violators from 15 years old below....lol

@In4ser bro are the Indian Americans being accepted by the political elites, I have seen a lot of them and they're the most hawkish and outlandish from commentators to politician, heck IF the American problem worsen I'm afraid they will be used as cannon fodders by the oligarch to cover up their greed. It's very similar to the Sepoy system during the British empire as they used the Indians to perpetuate their rule, now it is being used at home being the mouthpieces and implementer.(both in business and politics)

You got to remember that Indians tend to be culturally indoctrinated by religious tradition to have a caste-like mentality. Since the majority of Indians in America are Brahmin, it isn't surprising that they will try to position themselves in the social hierarchy as intellectual gurus and try to dominate the conversation with sophism. It's simply how they are brought up and taught to act.

The question is who's using who? Yes, Indians may be used as diversity figureheads and fall guys for White America but so too are Whites being used by Indians to legitimize their role and prestige within society. It's a mutual relationship, and if Indians are fine with that arrangement then good for them.

The reality of the situation is that America's future will be increasingly Indian. Here in Texas, they're already the largest Asian majority and outnumber the Chinese at 1% of the population to .06%. The disparity will only get worse over time, as the Chinese increasingly want to move back or not come at all as the US declines relative to China.

Fortunately, aside from drama regarding news and politics, I've not had to deal with too many problems with Indians. I am not particularly bothered by Jai Hinds, as I'm fully confident in China's bright future. Somebody's subjective opinion is not going to change objective facts and it is a waste of energy to debate with them. Moreover, being E. Asian is kind of cool (thanks to K-Pop and Anime) and even if Indians badmouth China (many still have a secret but grudging respect for it) so it's hard for them to look down on us, Chinese.

@In4ser bro thanks for your reply, I'm really interest in your POV, So what about the other ethnic group, Asian voices seems rather mute, while the Hispanics consider themselves white anyway depending which part of the region they came from, mostly those with European background not the natives. And what about the African American? I see them and the Indian descent may have a troubling future together as each jostled for power, economically and politically, I mean both ethnicity thrive on this woke mentality, so will be there a power struggle between the two? And god forbade IF one of them become president like Kamala (an Indian descent) the world will be in a lot of hurt.

@In4ser "even if Indians badmouth China (many still have a secret but grudging respect for it) so it's hard for them to look down on us, Chinese." bro the legacy of the 1962 Sino Indian conflict, I wish we had establish the same thing with SK, Japan, Vietnam and ASEAN, we lack the Fear Factor in our region, maybe being a Panda lover we received sympathy instead...lol
