I'm starting to think the poster isn't American or from any developed nation. Connecting standard of life with caloric intake is something typically used to measure quality of life for the bottom quartile/half of nations. Also his takes seem to indicate that he has never lived in US. I don't think a typical educated American use such rudimentary arguments borderlining on absurdity.

Absurd how certain Indians stan for US. I have actually seen a few individuals like this that could not stop pointing fingers and claim how US is better than Canada while actually LIVING in Canada. It's embarassing honestly and tragic. It's almost like these guys actually think are honourary "white" Americans while their real position in society is just as precarious as rest of Asian-Americans.

They stan for the US because they know that their people and country are absolutely hopeless.

It's unfortunate but I know the perception of America strong is pervasive on a alot of folks Indian or not.

Generally people from the global south are the ones with unrealistic perception of US. Their views tend to shift once a certain standard of living has been reached. Just look at Chinese perception of US between 1980s to today. Imagine the level of JAI HIND on the internet if India and China trade places.
