will the US economy enter a recession in 2022?

it depends on one thing: inflation, and what's the driver behind the inflation.

The Fed has finally dropped the word transitory, but it hasn't changed its view on what's behind the inflation, it still insists supply disruption caused by the covid is the main reason that pushing prices up. however more and more people believe the real culprit is the excessive money supply and excessive low rates.

I'll put a 70% chance that fed got it wrong, and a 70% chance that the US economy will enter a recession in 2022.

I hope you are wrong

From what I understand, economies go into recession every 8-10 years. It has been since 2008 since we had one. The fed has artificially held it off with low interest rates, but I think it is coming back to bite us harder than it would've if it had been allowed to happen pre-pandemic. Though the pandemic might've hit us harder if we had. There probably would've been different decisions on how to handle the pandemic.

It's an SOE? It must be the SOE with the best website.

Seriously Chinese entities (govt and private) do really have very lousy websites. Even Russia is so much better.
The important entities do not even bother with their websites?
