Actually its the $1.25 dollar store now... they raised prices by 25% this year....while salary wages averaged less than 2% increase...real inflation was at least 15% overall...

The dollar literally ain't what it used to be, even from just a year ago

Average is meaningless, what is the median growth? Pretty sure 1% got far richer during the pandemic, which is represented in the "surge".
