I think you ought to show a little respect for BDPopeye, the US continues to have a military presence anytime and anyplace where they are needed, and or desired, particularly with respect to aircraft carriers, and their CBG's. No doubt BD continues to proud in the role he played in implementing that charge in the last Century.
The world is still in denial that the US has a President who understands and appreciates his role as "Commander in Chief", there are few however who are "catching on".
The President is simply carrying out his constitutional duty, and I'm proud to give him my full support!

I've been trying to find out the Status of USS John C Stennis. I can find nothing...nadda...I think they will arrive in Norfolk within the next few days.
Yep, that's where my cousin was "bunking" when he made Captain, the Captain at the time held the ceremony on the Bridge of the Stennis, a very proud moment for me, as he was serving as Chaplin aboard the Stennis at the time...
he has 5 daughter's, is a big "Bear Hunter", loves Kodiak Island, Alaska, but he may be a "Pearl" these days???
oh, and he's married to a very pretty red-head!

Thank you. I'm aware of what you posted. I posted a photo of CVN-74 leaving Marseilles in this thread. I know about CVN-74 FB page. My wife joined the CVN-group when my grandson ,poopeye, was aboard her for six weeks earlier this year. poopeye is aboard Nimitz. Nimitz will be heading out to sea soon, this month, after a 15 month re-fit.
