In case any of you "World Watchers" wanted to know USS Harry S Truman (CVN -75) is operating in the Adriatic Sea.....along with her Strike Group.
ADRIATIC SEA (Nov. 27, 2018) An F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the "Fighting Checkmates" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 211, launches from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Currently operating in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations, Harry S. Truman will continue to foster cooperation with regional allies and partners, strengthen regional stability, and remain vigilant, agile and dynamic. "The decision now rests at the Office of the Secretary of Defense level, and Geurts declined to speculate on how OSD felt about the proposal when talking to reporters after the hearing. He said the Navy’s job was to present its best options to the Pentagon and then execute whatever they decide on. Geurts said during the hearing that he expects a decision by the end of the calendar year, and that punting the decision much farther down the road would start eroding some of the potential for saving money on parts and labor."

A simple electric/mechanical would have been fine. In my opinion there's no need for angled HI-Tech weapons elevators.. that don't work.

NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN -- The F-35 Pax River Integrated Test Force is testing aboard the HMS Queen Elizabeth for phase two of the First of Class Flight Trails (Fixed Wing). Phase two tests include external stores, minimum performance short-takeoffs, shipborne rolling vertical landing and night operations. A third phase followed by operational testing is scheduled for 2019. Together the events will help the UK ministry of Defence reach initial operating capability (maritime) in 2020.
