three regiments sounds about right, given the number of produced j10b so far. We should be seeing 3 additonal regiments worth of j10b/c every two years.
If only we could know for sure if they're going to j10a units first, or if they're replacing j7e/g units or even if they're going to j7II units (unlikely).
I really wish there was some way of knowing how many old J7II are still in service...
Possibly even a few j8 units could be replaced by j10b, since j11 production seems to be on a hiatus until D model is ready. J16 may replace them, of course, but there are many J8 units to be replaced, original su27 are getting old (so far some 40-50 of original russian deliveries have been retired, if scramble is to be believed) and J16 may also need to replace some Q5 which are getting long in the tooth.
JH7B seems to be, for all intents, a dead project. There are still lots of H6 to be replaced, a lot of Xian's resources will go into Y20 programme, and by the time all that's finished the new bomber should emerge ready for production.
