Me again with some more questions: After reading the latest CASI-report on the PLAAF's Brigadisation ( and a comparison with my own list, Scrable.nl and the similar thread at the CHina-Defence-Forum/CDF I found some mis-mathches which confuse me:

- What happened with 84. AR? Abolished or also Brigade?
- 94. AR abolished?
- 96. Brigade?
- 25., 27. and 52. AR are abolished?
- 97, 98 & 99. Brigade in WTC and what Base? IMO Lanzhou!?
- 16. and 18. Brigade to Urumqi? (or Lanzhou Base?)
- 17. AR abolished?
- 61. Brigade to Dalian or Jinan Base?
- 44. Brigade (at Bikeqi) correct in NTC? … and what Base? (USAF Univ. lists it to the CTC)
- 13., 14., 32., 33, 35, and 63. AR are abolished?
- What happened to 53. AR which was transferred to NTC?
- 70. & 72. Brigade to what Base? (IMO Datong? … or Wuhan?)
- 20., 45., and 57. AR are abolished?

Being a layman, I would like to learn the PLAAF/PLAN numbering system....

Western TC T&SAR Regiment is still a regiment, not a brigade. Scramble assumed incorrectly.
Subtitles say 运输搜救某团, not 运输搜救某旅.
Indeed, but given its serial number I think it will soon become a brigade .
