No, the difference is this thread helps to shame those sort of posts rather than encourage them.

In fact, what I may end up doing is locking this thread and moving other posts from other threads here so that everyone is able to observe what examples of undesirable posts are, but be unable to participate in continuing the discussion.

I didn't mean to offend you, but I initially thought you were joking. If you dislike such comments or feel certain remarks are inappropriate in some posts, you could have simply told me directly. Pinning my reply separately and using it as a cautionary example is truly disappointing.

Its nothing personal towards you, and I didn't pin your reply; your post just happened to be chronologically the first post here because of the time it was made, when it was moved here. I am not aware of any capability for me to actually "move" my post regarding the start of this thread to be "first".

More posts in future will also be moved here (you can be sure that others will also write fanciful ideas in the main threads), and if you want, I can find a few other posts by other people, made earlier than yours (which will therefore precede your post), but the point is so that people are aware that such sort of posts are not suited for the main threads.

Edit: also, but I'm sorry a 600,000 ton carrier even as a suggestion is somewhat beyond the pale to a degree that it's hard to even contend with. It's the equivalent of suggesting a helicarrier for all intents and purposes.

I've copied over a couple more posts from the past about the "White Emperor" from last year's Zhuhai as well, which precedes your post chronologically.
Not all posts that will be here will be made in seriousness, rather it helps for users in general to identify what to avoid posting in the main threads.
