Are they penetration aids? We have seen photos of some Iranian ballistic warheads equipped with multiple submunitions and the damage they do on ground seems to be like a mortar strike. I doubt they are penentration aids because from the videos, Israel doesnt even bother to intercept them.
They arent the same as smerch cluster warhead MLRS that I have seen in Syria but i don't see them as flares for sure.

I think the US doesn't have enough active troops for 250,000, I think the current number is 150,000 or something, it will require to call the reserves and a draft for 500,000 to fight both the regular and irregular Iranian military, different from previous conflicts the country is not in a civil war like Korean and Vietnam, the build up would have to be done under fire of ballistic missiles and drones and they will have to enter the worst terrain that the US had ever fought since Korea FULL FORCE, the deaths are going to be exponential.

But from the videos, i don't see a large explosive warhead trailing behind the cover of the penetration aid. I am happy to be wrong and appreciate videos showing it.
