is learning rapidly, the US is burning through critical stockpiles, and the future of warfare is being rewritten in real time.

Beijing is looking at the war as a live laboratory for understanding how the United States fights, how it escalates, and how it absorbs simultaneous crises.

Speaking to Defense & Tech by The Jerusalem Post, Witte emphasized that China’s interest in the war is deep and multifaceted.

Though the world is watching both Russia’s military capabilities in Ukraine and those of Iran’s in the current conflict, “You cannot put Iran and Russia in the same bucket as China,” according to Witte. “The quality of their equipment is better than Iran’s or Russia’s. Hang on, some of the ballistic missiles in this video seem to be liquid fuel? They have a very different exhaust to the smoky solid fuel rockets. Could be Shahab-3.

If so that means IRGC is now getting away with taking out liquid fuel ballistic missile, erecting it, then spend an hour refuelling them and then launching them without being harassed.

If they can now use the older liquid fuel ballistic missiles then the number of available missiles that they can launch to hit Israel would increase.
doesn't imply anything I think. Russians have instant launch, permanently fueled liquid fuel SLBMs. Not old ones either, they're new builds.

I was hoping Xi Jinping to cancel supposed Trump visit first. Now it is not Xi's headache anymore. Or, maybe the truth is that the visit was never officially confirmed depending on Trump's behaviour prior to the meeting. Now Trump knows that invitation would never come, so he is eating his words.
