It's kinda disappointing that the hardware we saw on the parade won't make in this year's china military power report. Last year, they hinted at "other icbm" in the 2024 report, so let's see how it goes. This year's report will be interesting.

That report always sandbags its reporting anyways. The US only puts in there what is already public knowledge. The stuff they really know and think China is working on is maybe hinted at or not disclosed at all. Cannot have your adversary figuring out how you get your information (and the earlier in development a weapon is, the easier it is to figure out who leaks info).

Does anyone know how many Anti-Japanese war veterans were present at the parade? A source in any language would be nice. To think that they will be falling out of living memory soon is sobering.

No exact number was given, but we know at least 6 were invited to the VVIP section and greeted by the bossman and those foreign heads of state; some viewed at ground level.

But indeed, by the time the 2035 parade comes along, all those veterans will be pass from this plane of existence. It is up to us to keep their memories alive, and perhaps should China become the new "Pax", the world will finally learn their sacrifice good and proper.
