We haven't seen any of them in rehearsal, so chances are, no we won't.

Also, for UAVs, the PLA seems to have a record of not actually flying UAVs for these parades... which seems prudent given the nature of the parade, the individuals in attendance, and the fact that the UAVs ultimately do not have a human being in them.


Until such a point for us to think otherwise, it is probably a good rule of thumb to not hold any expectations of UAVs flying as part of these parades.

Small offtop, but i would say the point when someone will dare to put manned:unmanned formation over a parade will be a breaking point in the future.

What is the difference between Y9LG and DZ? They are both supposed to be for Electronic warfare? Why does LG have a radar similar to an AWACS?

Stupid answer is it provides optimal working conditions for the array (which btw can be and likely is multipurpose), especially since the manufacturer is the same, and it's reuse of available solution. In addition, upper hemisphere provides almost completely unobstructed upper hemisphere(~ -15...+60) 240 deg field of view; less so downwards.
We shouldn't underestimate stupid answers, engineering is ultimately but problem solving.
Then, hypothesis: arrays fit for ths balance beam shouldn't necessarily be too dissimilar to the original KJ-200 one in properties. At least, frontal one.
