Yeah, but i believe Mao along with his red guards were against China's old traditional values, NO? Theres a reason he launched the cultural revolution to destroy and wipe out most of them(which led to tbe destruction of many ancient Chinese artifacts). I believe he had his reasons for doing so, though many later criticised him for that.
Mao was against the bad traditions like arranged marriage, feet binding, blind affinity to family and clans instead of the country.

Contrary to what you think, Mao is more Chinese classic than his peers. He is the only modern Chinese leader who was able to compose classical poems, both in format and spirit. Read his essay in classic Chinese in commemoration of Yellow Emperor and compare with what the ROC government wrote in 1937.

Mao is not in favor of Comfusius but he had high regards of Qinshihuang, Wudi of Han, Taizong of Tang and Chengis Khan. The culture that you talk about is only part of Chinese culture and by the 1900s many aspects of them are indeed dragging China down.

If you regard Mao as destroying Chinese culture, so would many great Chinese figures before him, start with Qinshihuang who made China as we know.

Culture like it's carrier is a river not dead water.

No, military parades are held in the latter half of the decade, and on tenth-anniversary occasions.

VJ military parade was held in 20x5, Army Founding Parade was held in 20x7, National Day Parade was held in 20x9.

The VJ military parade and the Army Founding parade were both initiated by Xi. In the past, there was only the founding of the National Day parade as a large-scale military parade.
I don't think the army founding "parade" made much sense. It was not even designed as a proper parade. It was kinda weird.

I hope they do it differently this time and focus on keeping the new hardware for the 2019 parade.

Norinco Sales Rep (who's likely a STEM nerd): We loaded 96 missiles to make sure we don't run out against drones.

Lei Jun: We ran a Monte Carlo simulation with machine learning algorithms based on all of the data from Russo-Ukrainian and Israeli-Palestinian conflicts and discovered that 96 was the optimal number of missiles to carry for the FK3000. Any less we risk running out, any more we risk supply chain/weight issues. The paint on the missiles have been carefully selected to balance the cost as well as performance. The rubber of the tires were selected for a perfect balance of durability in the cold and hot environments. The glass for the windows were made from Single Origin Sand™ sourced exclusively for the FK3000 from the Taklamakan Desert for optimal transparency, clarity, and durability against small weapons fire.

In other words, Norinco/AVIC should take some marketing lessons from Lei Jun in export sales. (I only say this half jokingly as someone who's sat through meetings with US MIC management when they jerk themselves).

Well what I meant by keeping the CPC Chinese was due to his purge of pro-Moscow factions, preventing the Russians from having dominant influence in the CPC. That was his trend from the days of the Ruijin Soviets before the Long March to the Cultural Revolution. He was always struggling against pro-Moscow factions. On the other hand, when traditional Chinese culture came into conflict against his rule, he crushed them ruthlessly, as seen during the CR when red guards smashed temples and other artefacts representing Chinese traditions seen as contravening Mao’s ideology.
