Nope, China is not that country, thank Cthulhu for that. Read more Xi Jinping.

Also, as a communist myself, the idea that China needs more nationalism is actually ludicrous. The CPC is doing a good job at balancing that tho, so I am content.

Sorry for the off topic, my last post on politics. This is definitely not the thread for it.
Forgive me, but I beg to differ slightly. The goal of the CPC is to use Marxist-Leninist-Maoist solutions to achieve China's national development and strategic goals. The CPC would have absolutely no legitimacy if the Party were to detract from China's great rejuvenation goal, which has been the nation's consensus since the country suffered multiple humiliations at the hands of Western and Japanese imperial powers. Therefore, the pursuance of socialism and communism (especially if such pursuance contradicts Chinese NATIONAL interests) should never come at the expense of Chinese nationalism. It is also for this reason that Mao's vision ultimately won over Soviet factions like AB and Comintern because Mao is "more" nationalistic and "Chinese" as opposed to just copying and pasting from Stalin. As much as I have a strong distaste toward radical populism, mob rule, and Cultural Revolution, I give Mao his credit for maintaining the nationalistic rhetoric within the CPC; thus, keeping the CPC Chinese as opposed to Russian or German. At least we Chinese still write Chinese texts and practice many ancient Confucian philosophies as opposed to Eastern Europeans and Mongols being much more russified. In fact, the CPC today is an amalgamation of Leninism (no longer Maoist due to failure of Cultural Revolution), Confucianism (filial to parents and respect for state authority, whilst the latters materially provide for their children and its citizens respectively), and Legalism (using education system to promote the Party-State ideology, constructing a unified national identity aligned with and serving Party leaders' political goals, punishing dissidents harshly, concentrating resources to carry put the state's developmental goals, ensuring Party's power always above those of other social strata, etc.). And the upcoming 9.3 parade itself has a demonstration of that overall nationalistic agenda of having a strong military so that the Chinese nation no longer have to suffer humiliations and defeat at the hands of predatory foreigners. And because ONLY the CPC has been successful in carrying and achieving such nationalistic agenda, the Party has the legitimacy to claim the mandate of heaven. Thus, you see the Party flag placed in front of the five-star national flag in the Z-20 formation. The message is whilst the Party serves the nationalistic goal of rejuvenation, the Party's leadership is absolutely vital because the Qing, Beiyang Government, and the KMT have all failed previously. The Party have achieved something all previous governments failed; thus, it has the right to rule so long as it keeps carrying out the nationalistic goal of making China great again.

After seeing all the missiles and uav, China's manned air force advances shown in the parade look underwhelming in comparison. Nothing truly ground breaking stuff that is so cutting edge that no one else has it. Manned Air force stuff is mostly catching up to US.

The coping has already begun, long before the parade actually happens.

Reuters have already set the template for all the articles coming in the next weeks: Its all Bling and posturing by China to scare the US, but China cannot actually use these new capabilities.
Im honestly expecting a change in tone from the US Military Generals at this point. We are already at the point where China is a "pacing" threat, but with all the new equipment shown, I think they'll change their wording and attitude after the parade. Its kinda clear the US is falling behind.
