Tomahawk (EW variant)
What is EW variant of tomahawk? Like anti-radiation type of thing? Detects radars and lockons and goes for it??
Must be a costly exercise that cannot be repeated very often
I saw rough estimates for all the planes, their 'per hours' costs and how long it took to be in range of $400 million, that DOESNT include all the naval assets being used, the submarines, the ships moved and all that.
It’s policy of chanting death to America and death to Israel
First of all

2nd, its not like if they stopped or hadnt done the chanting etc that Israel would leave them alone, Israel has been talking about 'iran is close to nuclear' since 1984 atleast.
I mean even with 'nuke facilities' apparently gone Israel military says they have 'more to do'

What Iran should do and I think they will do is increase their relations with China and Russia. Get better AD and planes
Definitely and the iranian reformists need to chill out with their 'we will join the west' dreams

Important detail:

The fighters en route from the US to Europe heading to the ME were, according to Open Source, heading to Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.

It seems that a major refueling operation took place on the route from Jordan > Iraq > Iran, at the same time that the B-2 Spirit was heading to Iran.

I emphasize this because the B-2 could only have followed the Syria-Iraq-Iran or Israel-Jordan-Iraq-Iran route, according to the positioning of the F-22s and other aircraft at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base.

The IAF had already attacked the reactor at Arak with what appears to be the 80 km Popeye missile:

Some local air superiority to Arak had been established for the IAF to have used the Popeye on the Arak reactor. Arak is 100 km from Fordow.

There was also an unprecedented buildup at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

This clearing of the southern air corridor seems like interesting news, because I don't see the B-2 taking the southern route unless Israel actually cleared the air corridor first, but the IAF had already established a viable air corridor to Arak, so I would have thought the most likely route would be the same one the IAF took to reach Arak, through western Iran, not south as the article mentions.
That was 48 hours before the strikes. We don’t know if US planners had already decided to attack from the Mediterranean direction at that time. US could have seriously considered to attack from the Arabian Sea direction. In that case, degradation of ADs in southern Iran became relevant.

It could also just be a part of deception tactics providing more credibility to the decoy B2 mission. Until the actual US announcement, the consensus from online open source monitoring community was that the attack was coming from Guam. IAF striking southern Iran would reinforce this opinion.

What is wrong with them? They will never improve if that's their attitude...Why do they feel superior to everyone else?!?

Too late. The time to take action was before not now. These guys have had multiple chances to learn but didn't.

History doesn't care about injustice or whatever. Only those who make the right calls on time. The rest end up in the trashcan.
