China was doing far worse in the 1920-30s. Muslims also had quite a dominating presence against europe under the early ottoman empire. So, its not like Muslims have never been strong.

If we look at the big picture for the last several centuries. Muslim lands in the middle east was united under one Ottoman empire for a long time. Only this last century did it break up into pieces and gotten weak in the process. The geography and culture there is suitable for another reconsolidation into a more united state but it will take some time for it to happen. Middle East is now going through its own century of humiliation but that could be the catalyst that creates the right mindset and leadership to get more united and focused on development. Essentially this is modernisation by foreign humiliation
They are NOT united anymore. Large nations rise and fall and rise again but once they break into little pieces, they are done for. I'm no fan of Turkey at all but if the Muslim world reunites into a modern Ottoman Empire, they have hope. Israel will live like a mouse in fear of this power.

Israel has effectively demonstrated how to dismantle an opponent's command & control with minimal resources and risk of retaliation. This operation has been a testament to how important intelligence and infiltration are to the success of the mission's execution, no matter the brute strength that lay at your disposal.

Iran needs to establish deterrence ASAP. What options can they exercise at this point to establish deterrence against future strikes by Israel?
Their only option is full scale war of attrition with drones and missiles. Israel will attack Iran more and Iran's air defense is not strong enough to withstand it. So, they need to fully disperse and conceal their forces or other valuable weapons. That way they can carry on attrition without losing much.

However, If they go for symbolic strikes again, its over for them.

Iran is done. Israel has eliminated a bunch of top generals. There is no one to lead now. It is in disarray.

you can forget about using those Shahed drones as counterattack..

Even Russians were hesitant to help Iran to build nuclear bombs.

Iran should get help since they are a member of SCO. But everyone is busy with their own thing. Russia has to deal with Ukraine. China has to deal with Taiwan.

The Arabs potentially have the possibility of uniting given the common ethnocultural-linguistic ties but pinning a huge religious label like 'Muslim' with its massive ethnocultural diversity is not a smart idea and will create a very unstable entity, modern stares aren't like past empires. Nations like Iran and Turkey will value their autonomy and independent identity. Conflating this diverse region as one is incorrect and just a recipe for another unstable ride to break-up.

What is something more realistic is a NATO-type regional set-up like Europe has but a religious alliance, which is feasible since despite differences religious ties are still strong.

The Mossad spy agency built a secrete explosive drone base in Iran for this morning's operation, an Israeli security source reveals.

The drones were used to strike ballistic missile launchers at a base near Tehran, preventing Iran from firing projectiles at Israel as this morning's strikes began.

Additionally, a Mossad commando team deployed guided weapons systems to central Iran, close to Iranian air defense sites. The weapons struck the air defense sites, preventing them from targeting Israeli fighter jets.

The mossad assets are Iranian spies. And to add, Azerbaijan had a major role in this FYI
