I’m saying it looks like this thing, which has a different chassis to VN12 / ZBD04.

Formal designation is VN12A, and it's an infantry fighting vehicle.

AUICS-3000 drone swarm. Designed to be thrown into the back of a pickup.
Not just any drone swarm, but a drone swarm to counter other drones. I wonder if they are going for kinetic kills or are they armed with something like a net. How many drones do they release for each detected adversary, and do drones fly back to be placed back into the container if they are not expended, or are they single use?

Imo it probably doesn't matter that they are expendable. As long as they are cheaper than something like a HQ-17 missile then it doesn't really matter if they get used up every launch. After all, the cost of a successful strike is going to be more than the cost of the interceptor drone anyhow.

I wonder about the actual viability of using nets to capture drones (mostly talking about small/FPV drones). While they work, in actual battlefield conditions I could envision that even with a successful "interception" using a net, wouldn't there be some possibility that the captured drone could literally fall on top or near friendly troops and explode

Wouldn't it be safer to intercept the drone in a way that at least you would ensure that the carried payload is destroyed
