The official designation of the new 8x8 vehicle platform is VN23, which for this edition of the Zhuhai Airshow was mated to an assault gun turret.

VT4 MBT with drone jammers (vertical rods) mounted on top of its turret, which has a jamming range of 1km. This has been the theme this year. Many of the vehicles on exhibit now feature some kind of drone countermeasure devices. Moreover, VT4 now carries two UAVs on the back of the turret that can provide up to 10km of reconnaissance range.

The control interface for VT4's onboard recon UAVs. The interface is basically a software upgrade to the command console.

Are there more laser weapons being showcased this airshow? So far it seems limited to only a few platforms.

More likely a 105mm gun,a recoil force from 125mm gun fire will to be much for a light chassic.
