Clearly, barbwires would be quite effective. against these tread design .
Apart from that, what do China do with an unmanned thingy that can both swim and craw on land? Amphibious landing maybe?
Maybe to trick shores mines and draw fire before the real landing occur in an amphibious landing situation. Don't know how that unmaned vehicule works but to be somewhat useful in that power hungry battlefield it need to be filled-up with fuel tanks.
But in a river filled environment, having a thing that can cross without pontoon, do recon and flanking manoeuver can be usefull.
