Americans despite all this geopolitcs and political rivalry take a stepback and admire real sporting talent, even from russia, china or NK. While Most of the indians online are just vile, jelous, spewing racist and derogatory comments.

They did it back and forth for a few times already. When the US was not able to compete with Russia with gold medals, they decided to shift to total medals. A few years after the downfall of the SU, they changed it back to gold medals. Then after 2008, they again shifted it to total medals. Sportsmanship and the so called it's not the winning but the taking part that counts is for the fools in the third world and those who worshiped the West.
Really? Because all I see is Americans becoming increasingly like Indians with each passing year. Every comments section or social media is filled with toxic negativity, accusing China of cheating in swimming, making up lies that China has had the most medals stripped (US has had 2x the number of medals stripped as China), and other things.
I've stopped respecting America or Americans a long time ago. The differences between them and Indians are decreasing with each generation.
China should be gaslighting these savages with constant accusations of cheating. If they want to be that low, they need to understand what a punch back in their face feels like. Then they will have more respect.
Having 40% youth unemployment ensures that. Racism is disgusting enough, but when it comes from an unsuccessful country it is ridiculous. I really don't want to talk ill of a nation but I am fed up with Indian trolls posting racist comments on most news sites about everybody. I have no idea who they think they are.

Hot take: India has only 9 golds in history even though it has been at the Olympics for OVER 100 years.
US going overtime to distract from the fact that Simon Biles has essentially boycotted these games (even though nobody dares say this) because of her horrendous treatment by USA gymnastics after her sexual assault by convicted team doctor (and sex offender) Larry Nasser.
Also, the US team is being bitch-slapped by the Russian team across multiple events, even as it attempted to ban one of its strongest competitors across multiple disciplines from competing.
Believe it or not, most of those golds are by their colonial masters in the 1920s-50s....
Only 1 of 9 Gold medals they won was by an Indian lol, the rest are from the Hockey team that the Brits started in the 20s, and still contained many British players into the 50s and 60s.
Next time you see them just tell them that their men are so useless that they need a Chinki girl to win a medal for them. Challenging their masculinity is a very effective way for triggering Bhakts.
With a little luck, China is going to be very dominate today. Needs as much padding as possible for the ensuing onslaught of medals US is about to get from forcing their minorities into competing for patriotism in the track and field.
