China may get a whole lot more medals if the govt bans online after school tutoring, video games, and requires kids to participate in some sort of sports program.

It wasn't too long ago Australia was the North Korea of Western countries. In the 60's they regularly kidnapped British children and brought them to Australia because Australians were so paranoid of Chinese invasion that they felt they needed more white people to repel Chinese invaders. And that kind of paranoia is coming back today so I don't know where the idea came from that Australia has values to be showed off. Those kids today would be the age old enough to make political decisions based on their teachings they were brought to Australia for.
Australia is a strong #2 on the White nationalism/White supremacism spectrum among the White nations. Israelis are the only ones above them and that's because they get a pass to do whatever they want while Australians still have to put on a modicum of respect and pretend to support all peoples like the other Anglo nations.

Shame about women basketball, they just lost in quarter to Serbia. They actually led by about 10 points after third quarter but couldn't hold on in the fourth. I gotta say again the draw was shit, China top the group but got a stronger opponent than Japan who performed worse in group stage. Not trying to be a sore loser though, gotta admit they didn't execute well at all in the fourth with so many turnovers. Losing a big lead like that is not good but the draw is still shit. They should have been in the semis with a fairer draw.
Ninali Schultz has started her competition today for China in heptathlon after she switched allegiance from Canada. She is 6th after high jump. Dun think she is medal contender but it's quite an achievement to get in final in itself.
