Just wondering, do you guys think it would be possible for Russia to sell Yasen/Borei tech in the current situation in exchange for economic aid?

It's basically one of the last aces up their sleeve

Highly likely. I don't know if they will transfer the tech directly or even China wants it that way, but I think China will start using the Russian military industry's design offices for its own projects via joint ventures. That way Russian tech in nuclear subs can be transferred to China in a better way.
And I don't think there is anything wrong with that. The US sanctions companies and even universities connected to the Chinese military industry arbitrarily anyway.

I also think it is wrong to gauge the level of development of the Chinese nuclear sub from 093 and 094. They are old designs. We will get an idea when the specs of 095 and 096 are released.

Why US/UK can transfer Australia Nuclear subs technology and why not Russia to China??

Russia and China aren’t that close , and Russians don’t do business like Anglos, I don’t think that kind of joint development/tech transfer is possible even between Russia&Belarus .

It depends. Russia actually has quite close cooperation with Chinese nuclear industry. One example is Russian gas centrifuge technology used for uranium enrichment in China. I kind of doubt they would sell their latest technology to China. But they might sell the Yasen or Borei design once the Laika submarine gets close to operation. I could see a sale happening in a couple of years. I do not think China will need a deal like this however.

If it was just a submarine lease similar to the one they have with India then Russia could it right now I think. This would make a lot more sense, I think, since it would allow China to evaluate Russian submarine technology hands on. And they would basically be helping Russia to expand its submarine production which would help offset increase in size of US allied nuclear submarine fleet.

Unless China wants to have an exact copy of the Yasen, buying the right to the design is a bad idea. They would have to reverse engineer it to make the design useful for their own subs. Transfering individual technologies and employing Yasen's design team is a much better idea.
Also Australia will definitely not get the technology. At best they will get a lot of components to build their own submarines but almost all of those components will be black boxes to the Australians. They may even end up with refurbished LA class boats.

The Laika class is inferior to the Tansen class. Just beacuse it came later on does mean that it is better.
