Nothing then happens really for 8 days. The tugs move around a bit, visit the western piers occasionally.

Fast forward to the 17th and at 0539 UTC the tugs are back at the same boat, with Bo Tuo likely tied up to it.

They start to drag the sub back across, getting half way at 0621 UTC, 1 to 1.5 kts speed

And are back in there at 0710 UTC.

The tugs then hang around the gates, probably whilst they close them up.

Note: some of the spurious routes are poor GPS coverage.

That then, is what we see in the 18/8/25 Sentinel imagery. And just to make sure, I played through to today as I said before.

All we get are the tugs going to the gates, but never in. Possibly just checking them or something as they're not there for long.

They were back there this morning (20/8/25 0830 UTC) for much the same time.

Hope this helps.

This gate manoeuvre they carry out pretty regularly by the look of things.

Well there's good news that can now fully clarify whats happened.

They did move the Shang I as described above - but on the 10th, moved it to the other side of the pier.

The AIS below shows them halfway into the move which had started about half an hour earlier.

This move is confirmed as I've now seen high res imagery for the 18th and the Shang I (093) is on the north side of the pier.

But missing is the Shang III (093B) shown below. So it is this that is now in the dry dock.
