Compare to the 4th,this hump is higher, and there is one more water hole above the most forward sonar arrays in both sides, and the longist water hole is splited.

The torpedo room look good and modern and clean compare that to the old type 81 with PLA red symbol on torpedo tube closure. As Hyperwarp said 2 type of torpedo?

According to Yankee Gao, the bottom one is YJ-18 and the top is Yu-10. Both are fired from 09III torpedo tube. It is unclear if 09III has VLS at all. This seem to be the first time Yu-10 is shown and confirmed its existence. Yankee's original words "All that someone need to know is the missile (bottom) is secret, the torp (top) is top secret"

He then went on to talk about Xi's speech about naval aviation.

With all these revisions I wonder if it makes any sense to treat the latest and earliest versions of the 093 as the same class of subs. When we look back at its history it feels a lot like 093 has been more of a test platform used for refining design and technologies not unlike what we saw with the multiple iterations of the 052s, 051s, and 053s.

That is amazing, thanks. However, #2 could easily be a refit of #1, with the sail replaced during a refit.

That's some nice work, there!
To try and sum it up:
So we have the rumor of initial two 093, built in 2000s. But so far we have only photos of a single 093 at once. So if we want to be really conservative, there may be just 1-2 of those.
We have that 093 with smooth sailbase, also one sub in the image. We've no indication there is more than one of those. And it may be one of the original 093 converted. lets call it 093G.
We have image of two 093 with small hump together, so that 2 subs, lets call them 093A.
We have image of one 093 with large hump. so lets say one 093A+
And we have image of one 093 with even larger hump. Though the satellite image kind of suggests there may be two of those. Hard to tell due to poor resolution. Lets call it 1-2 093B

For a grand total of 6-8 093 subs.

I only count two modified variants, one with a small hump and one with a larger one. Where did you get the idea that there were three variants (small hump, larger hump, even larger hump)?
