This is why i was really looking at only Dalian, Jiangnan and Hudong re carrier capable drydocks, because they are the only ones that actually built large CV/LHD ships to date. At a minimum there are the two Dalian and Jiangnan capable of doing so at the moment, with Hudong having a drydock big enough as well. Of course, now Huangpu got into the LHD business, so that's another one able to build large combatants for PLAN.The smaller drydock at Hudong-Zhonghua measures ~340 meters long and ~48 meters wide.
The number is 50+, per the Office of Naval Intelligence of the United States Navy.

However, it MUST be noted that the phrase "physically accommodate" definitely should not be taken as being equivalent to the aforementioned drydocks being capable of building, servicing and repairing aircraft carriers (of which only a few of them do).
Says who?
Another of the articles i've read stated that 7 shipyards would theoretically have the capacity for CVs, and yet another that up to four CVNs could be built simultaneously (two at Dalian, one at Jiangnan, one at Hudong), though of course the latter two are just speculative statements. Still, it will be extremely interesting to get an overall image of the theoretical and practical CV/CVN/LHD/LHA capacity.
