For one minute there I thought in the third photo the 075 was spilling huge black smoke! Lol.
Just in case anyone is misled, the photo of the Kaga has been doctored by someone to make the deck look more square. In reality, the modifications to its deck didn't include structural modifications and was primarily the change of flight deck markings

that yellow on the Izumo deck is clearly not really that yellow ?
Izumo Class looks Ultra Modern, from the hull, thickness of the deck plate and island
also the overhang on the elevator next to the island extend quite far out never noticed that before

This is comparing apple with orange.
075: bigger tonnage, boxy, has floodable well deck
Kaga: Smaller tonnage, overhang with bigger deck, no floodable well deck
They do have plan to make the front square, thus "future" Kaga.
The tower on the Izumo Class does not look stealthy at all, and therefore not that modern.
