Status quo remains regardless who's president next year or next four years. Because as time moves on, the gap shrinks so cost of war grows for the US. Nothing will happen regardless of whose in change. China will keep churning out ships in numbers and US will keeping doing their thing and the world moves on.
Now let's leave the political discussions out of this place.

Yes, according to retired PLA Zhang zhaozhong, there will likely be around 20 075s in total, they are very cheap(054A level) and easy to build.
He probably has insider information.
Zhang Zhaozhong for sure has inside information, the only thing is when he opens his mouth you can never tell if he's letting out some real inside information to build up his reputation or if he's spending his reputation to deliberately spread some lies for the purpose of misinformation.

Yes it's true, he suddenly disappeared from public view. It's not like a health problem or anything, a fan meet him at a grocery shop recently and asked if he's well and he said he's fine.
Maybe they recalled him back to the PLAN to work on some big plan, or alternatively maybe they just told him not to say anything at the moment because current geopolitics is a bit sensitive.
