IMHO, China has way too small number of LPDs. And amphibious shipping in general. For Taiwan contingency, they will need much more.

I believe these are the best we have ever seen

what a great design

well deck for 4 x LCAC
hanger for 4 x Z8 medium sized helicopters
compartment one behind the well deck for IFV
and one compartment above that for IFV
also add in the rear landing deck which is also quite larger

the flat deck space in the Type 071 LPD is very utilised
