That is my picture gents, please are permission first if you take a picture from shipspotting.

If your images had watermarks or author information, I would have certainly done so. But since they've been plastered all over the internet with no info on its origin, your request is unreasonable and cannot be met.

My pictures do have author information in them.
Downloaded one of my own pictures from ship-spotting and information (my name) is there, the info was gone when the pictures were reposted here on SDF.
It is normal courtesy to ask permission if one wants to use a picture from shipspotting, so I don't see my remark / request is unreasonable.

Both you and by78 have valid points. It will be better if you put watermark of some kind to attribute the photo to yourself so that other people know who owns this photo.

I do understand that my pictures do not have a watermark inside the picture (can be cropped out of course) and that copyright becomes untraceable after reposting.
However until now I never had any problem regarding my own pictures.
On quite a number of occasions I was asked for permission for use of my pictures from shipspotting, and this is normal practise.
This might however, sadly, became in disuse lately.
Anyway I hope you do enjoy them.
