Finally, the last of the five at Dalian will be launched immediately. Posted by @foolsball on Twitter.
There are 3 other 052DGs docked pier-side, whereas one 052DG is undergoing sea trials some 60 kilometers southeast of Dalian.
After her launch, let's see what's going into that drydock.
Here's hopeful that a new batch of DDGs isn't far off...

How many 52's are there now?
As of today (18 May 2024):
- 25x 052D/DGs in active service
- 6x 052DGs fitting out/undergoing sea trials
- 1x 052DG within imminent launch
- 2-4x 052DGs under construction
That means a total of 34-36 052D/DGs are present in various stages.

Would expect total 28 in service by end of 2024 and 31-33 by end of 2025.
